New Year’s Resolution- I Must Make More Effort in my Garden!
Many of us have thought the above about our garden. Throughout lockdown, having spent additional time at home, the garden may have become your haven or a project that you have worked on maintaining week after week. Now that restrictions are (hopefully) easing, how will you maintain your garden to the same standard that you did in 2020?
You may have encountered a roadblock in your project in the form of some stubborn brambles that are in the way or a hedge that is too high or too dangerous for you to cut. This may have sapped your motivation – you cannot imagine doing anything else in your garden until this task has been completed.
Alternatively, you could be considering a large landscaping project, but feel concerned about the cost or the disruption that it could cause. Instead, we would recommend ensuring that the features you already have in your garden are in good condition – you could remove any plants that are overgrown or worse for wear, clean up leaves and other debris, give your lawn a feed and weed treatment and consider some flowers you could plant later on in spring. By making the best of what you already have, you may decide that the landscaping project can hold off for a while, or that not all of the work needs to be done in one go.
Our one off and regular garden maintenance packages may be able to assist you with any of the above work this winter, so that your garden is perfectly prepared for 2021. These packages can be tailored to your requirements as each of our quotations are completely bespoke. If you love gardening and spending time in your garden, we are more than happy to carry out projects that are too difficult or time consuming for you on a regular or one off basis!
