Installing Composite Decking
Composite decking is an excellent choice for any garden, as it requires low maintenance, no painting, and doesn’t warp.
To begin with, we removed the existing decking, and cleared the area. The decking stretched the width of the rear garden up to the wooden cabin, creating a lovely sitting area for the summer months. It also stepped down to an additional area of decking where the water-feature would be located. Please see the photos for further detail.
So that the area would be more aesthetically pleasing, we used two different colours on the decking. The edge of the decking was laid in Argent grey, and the internal sections of the decking were Spiced oak. This added interest and character!
To finish the decking off and to add further safety to the decking, due to it being slightly raised, we erected glass balustrading that sat within a frame to match the Argent grey decking colour.
This really gave the added wow factor to the client’s garden and they were thrilled with the results. As you can see from the photos it was quite a transformation.
