Bring trees indoors as late as rm, for a maximum of 12 days.
Put on view in a cool room, well away from heated areas, and keep the compost moist but not saturated.
Plant the tree out in the garden at the end of winter or grow outdoors in a container for next year. Keeping it potted helps to restrict the size.
If the weather is cold, ‘harden off’ the tree in a glasshouse or shed before replacing or planting outside again.
Keep tree moist by giving the tree liquid feed monthly to help growth.
